The CCC Presents: Possessing & Transporting Cannabis Legally in Illinois
First, are you looking to stay informed and compliant with the laws surrounding cannabis possession and transportation in Illinois? The Consumer Cannabis Council (CCC) has you covered with their upcoming event: Possessing & Traveling with Cannabis in Illinois.
On Thursday, August 17, from 6:30 to 8 pm CDT, head to the Cresco Education Center at 3812 North Clark Street in Chicago, IL. Here, you'll gain valuable insights from cannabis legal expert and former senior Cook County public defender, Kulmeet S. "Bob" Galhotra Esq.

Next, this Illinois cannabis event is one you won’t want to miss. Chicago Cultivate is a three-day celebration from Friday, August 25th to Sunday, August 27th (open 2pm to 10pm each day) that encapsulates the essence of cannabis culture, offering a vibrant amalgamation of music, culinary delights, and everything cannabis related. Nestled in the heart of Chicago, the event unfolds within a sprawling venue located at 1800 W Lake St.
The Details
Chicago Cultivate offers an impressive line-up of live performances spanning various genres, including rock, hip-hop, reggae, and punk. The festival's single stage will play host to top artists, promising attendees an unforgettable music experience that complements the vibrant atmosphere of this event.
But it's not just about the music.Chicago Cultivate will also tantalize your taste buds with tons of delectable festival foods, drinks, and sweets. Cannabis will not be sold at this event. With that being said, shuttle buses to local dispensaries will be available throughout the event.
This event is for people 21+ only.
As a courtesy to local community members, re-entry is not permitted for GA pass holders. However, VIP ticket holders can enjoy the freedom of re-entry. With a GA pass, you can enter the festival grounds once per day unless you opt for the shuttle to the dispensary.
